Creating Dynamic Stories: 6pm
What if we chased sunlight? Or sunset, or shadows? What if we flew over the earth the other way at the same speed it rotated? Can we stop the day from changing and let time stand still?
I asked contributors for two video clips: film yourself at 6pm and film something that catches your eye at 6pm. I utilized Amazon Mechanical Turk to gather video clips in the moment: 6pm around the globe.
Basically, through this piece we can observe the moment of 6pm around the world. It keeps looping- like the way earth rotates. The videos continuously keep folding and unfolding and moving around in the vacant space. When you rollover one of the thumbnails, it goes bigger. When clicked on, the second group of clips (the objects that caught their eye), fills the space.
