Inquires into Data Interpretation
When a person left from Seoul, Korea and arrived Los Angeles he/she always arrives Los Angles five hours before the departure time in Korea- of the same day. It is like going back in time. This is due to time zones around the globe. The distortion of time is an intriguing concept for a media designer.
I created a time travel table based on this idea. Considered the leaving cities PRESENT, when you go forward to the way of earth rotation which means you are going to the FUTURE and when you are flying backward to the earth rotation you are actually going back to the PAST. I mapped out two different kinds of maps. One is relative/subjective space-time which is created by time table of my calculated time and space. The other one is absolute/objective space-time which represents movement of locations.
